Two Free Tools to Bring in New Customers

Looking to bring in some new faces to your business? There are two key marketing tools that can bring in more customers without costing a dime: Google My Business (GMB) and Branded web prospect widget. Let’s dive into how to optimize these tools.

Google My Business

Google has very specific guidelines on how to optimize GMB. The better optimized, the higher you rank and more people will find your business. To be in the Google spotlight be sure to do the following:

  1. Complete your GMB profile.
  2. Add photos- exterior, interior, logo, cover photo, team photos, products & services photos are all recommended by Google.
  3. Post regularly- Google offers five different types of posts. Post regularly to GMB and more traffic will find you. At least once a week is recommended.
  4. Ask for reviews and respond quickly to all reviews.

These easy steps can help you drive traffic to your business.

Branded Web Prospect Widget

This widget is a great way to capture the name and email of a prospect. The best way to capture that email is to offer a video or pdf document in exchange for the email. This way the customer gets value from your business and then can get a taste of what you have to offer.

The funnel or sales flow would work in this manner:

  1. Widget is embedded in a landing page, website or Facebook.
  2. Customer gives email in exchange for video or resource.
Customer receives the video/resource and by providing their email has been added into your Mindbody software and email marketing platform.
  3. Customers can be added into an email marketing campaign that offers more resources, an intro offer, and other valuable content with the intent to convert the prospect to a customer.
  4. Customers will also receive your regular newsletters, and educational content.

Please note that in the fitness world prospects may receive your emails for up to six months before taking the leap to try a session. Keep this in mind when creating your email marketing funnel.

Both tools can be a great way to capture new leads and potential new customers to your business. Perfect for marketing on a budget.
